The chat couldn't load
Your internet provider or country seems to block the video chat service. It's not your camera and not your phone — the chat just can't reach you on this connection.
How to fix it
- 1Turn on a VPN (any VPN app works), then tap Try again.
- 2Or switch network: mobile data instead of Wi-Fi, or the other way round.
- 3Still nothing? Open the page in Chrome or Safari, not inside another app.

Why switch
Why people look for a Joingy alternative
Joingy is a free, anonymous random chat website with a text-only section and one‑on‑one video. It needs no registration, which is why many people like it.
It is also very basic. Matching is random only: its interests feature is marked “coming soon”, and there are no gender or country filters. It is web only, with no app on the App Store or Google Play when we checked.
Its age rules are unclear. Joingy’s terms and rules say it is for adults 18 and over, but its privacy policy says users must be at least 13, with a parent’s permission under 18. Age is self-declared.

How to choose a Joingy alternative
If you like Joingy because there’s no account, stay with services that say they don’t need one to start: this site and CamSurf. Emerald Chat and Monkey ask you to sign up.
If you miss interest matching, Emerald Chat matches by interests or at random, and Azar recommends matches based on your preferences. Both sell gender and region filters if you want them.
If you want an app rather than a website, Azar is on both iPhone and Android, and OmeTV, Emerald Chat, CamSurf and Monkey have Android apps.
Staying safe on any random video chat
Anonymous chat is fun, but the same rules apply everywhere: don’t share your address, workplace, passwords or payment details, and leave any chat that makes you uncomfortable. Every service here describes a report button; use it.
Most of the alternatives listed here say they are for adults 18 and over (see the table). If someone appears to be under 18, end the chat and report it.
How we compared, and our interest
Every fact about another service comes from that service’s own public website, terms, help pages or app store listing, checked on the date shown on its card; each card links its sources. We did not install the apps or create accounts, so the comparison covers what each service publishes, not how it behaves day to day. Features, prices and age rules change, so check the service itself before you sign up.
Our interest, plainly: this site embeds CooMeet’s video chat as a CooMeet partner and earns a share of the revenue when people who start here register or pay, so it is listed first. The other services are listed because people searching for Joingy alternatives ask about them; we have no relationship with any of them. Service names belong to their owners.
